Resource Roundup: Week of 8/18-8/24

 fridaycat

As is with (almost) every Friday, we're revisiting this week's past posts.  So sit back, relax, and fire up that old crusty Dell Inspiron over the weekend and learn a thing or two from .NET eCommerce Blog.

Posts this past week:

8/18:

"How Would You Change eCommerce?" - I posed this question because people have different ideas of how eCommerce should be applied.  With Silverlight this, and AJAX that, an eCommerce site has so many technological options to revamp and enhance the online customer experience.  What ideas do you have?

"Stricter PCI Compliance Standards Could Be Too Costly to Implement" - This is the case with The Scholar's Workstation, the University of California, Berkeley's online student store.  With tighter PCI regulations, the university doesn't have the funding to revamp its hardware and software to get its store up to par.  As a result, the store cannot process credit cards online.  This is the only example I've heard of an online store buckling down to the financial pressures of PCI standards.

Got any cool links or resources to share?  What do you think of the blog so far?  Are you sick of my posts? Feel free to comment below.

Everyone have a great weekend!
