Some of us here at Mediachase own iPhones, including myself, and we were mildly disappointed by the Worldwide Developers' Conference (WWDC) announcement this morning. Nothing much new, other than 3G, GPS, and a slimmer case. Big deal. Where's the rumored video conferencing, TV tuner, and toaster? Sadly, it looks like Jonathan Ive and his crew couldn't stuff a slice of bread into the iPhone 3G's current dimensions.
All joking aside, from a software point of view, we finally see the emergence of native third-party applications for the iPhone and the device as viable development platform for a multitude of apps, including games, social networking, and mobile blogging--and of course eCommerce.
We have to mention eCommerce. We're still an (.NET) eCommerce blog after all.
