Ultimately, for developers (and any other working stiff out there), it's about getting the job done well in less time. For web application developers, there are numerous languages and tools to choose from to get that app out the door. From Ruby, to Java, and to our personal favorite, ASP.NET, there are advantages and disadvantages to all of them. However, which environment is actually faster to develop in?
